Pupil Roles and Responsibilities

We are proud to provide a wide range of leadership opportunities that empower children to make a positive contribution to school life and develop the confidence, skills and character needed for future success.

Our Children's Leadership Team, led by the Head Boy and Head Girl, works closely with academy leaders to share pupils' views, contribute ideas and help shape improvements across the school. Alongside this, we offer a variety of leadership responsibilities, including Young Interpreters, Eco Team, Young Carers, Health Champions and Attendance Ambassadors.

Our pupil leaders make a genuine difference. They help welcome new children and families to the academy, support pupils who speak English as an additional language, promote healthy lifestyles and positive attendance, champion environmental projects, raise awareness of the needs of young carers and contribute ideas that help improve school life for everyone.

We believe that every child can be a leader. By providing a wide range of opportunities linked to children's interests, strengths and passions, we ensure that all pupils have the chance to develop responsibility, teamwork, communication and leadership skills while making a meaningful impact on our school and wider community.
