Wow Starter

This week year 4 enjoyed their Wow Starter to introduce our new topic this term, Invaders and Settlers of Britain! We will mostly be focusing on the Romans and so we learned that they originated in Rome, Italy. We looked at different landmarks in Rome such as the Coloseum, the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. We then made some Roman bread and created our own Roman shield! We really enjoyed going out on the yard to demonstrate a Roman army formation called the 'Testudo'!
