Amethyst - Beneath the Canopy

This term in Year 4, our geography topic is 'Beneath the Canopy'. We're learning all about the world's rainforests! We started off by building our own terrariums in our Wow Starter afternoon, and we've been watching the plants in them grow on our classroom window sill! Inside, our terrariums have their very own mini ecosystem! This week, we had a visit from Zoolab who brought some real life rainforest animals into school to meet us! We were very brave and curious and some of us even held the animals! We met a giant snail, a millipede, a tarantula and a corn snake! Take a look at all the fun we've been having:
